SUMMARY. The aim of the current study was to evaluate the effects of HBOT on veterans with combat-associated PTSD (CA-PTSD) in an RCT. Results of 56 patients showed significant positive progress for depression, stress and anxiety. The authors conclude that HBOT improves the lives of Veterans with combat-associated PTSD. The findings were validated by enhanced functional connectivity demonstrated by rsMRI.
