Honored. Grateful. Humbled.
This weekend at the 1st Annual Koterra Golf Classic, I had the incredible honor of receiving the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs Commander’s Award, presented by General James S. Hartsell, Executive Director of the FDVA.
This recognition is not about me — it is about the work, the mission, and the Veterans we are fighting for every single day at Koterra.
Our mission is simple:
Heal the invisible wounds of TBI, PTS, and suicidal ideation through innovative, science-backed care — because our Veterans deserve nothing less.
To have General Hartsell stand with us, acknowledge our impact, and affirm publicly that “HBOT heals ” was a moment of validation for every family, every volunteer, every donor, and every Veteran who has walked through our doors searching for hope.
This award belongs to:
Our Veterans, who show extraordinary courage in seeking healing
Our Koterra team, whose heart and grit drive our mission forward
Our volunteers, who give their time with love
Our sponsors and partners, who make it possible to say “yes” to more Veterans
And everyone who joined us at the golf classic to support this lifesaving work
This is just the beginning.
We will keep pushing.
We will keep healing.
And we will not stop until every Veteran who needs help receives it.
