Suicide is like that: in an instant, it’s too late. Daily we’re at the 11th hour for too many veterans. But the sense of urgency on the part of the US Government is woeful. Even Congress has passed laws demanding ACTION to end the suicide epidemic, but one waits in vain for ACTION. Lest we forget: the suicide and opioid overdose rates among service members are at Epidemic proportions.

The TreatNOW Coalition will continue to work toward its Mission and Vision: TreatNOW Mission: Stop suicides by identifying and treating veterans and others suffering from TBI/PTSD/Concussion.
TreatNOW Goal: Ensure that over 1.5 million brain injured veterans and active duty service members, along with millions of citizens, get insured access to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and other proven alternative medical treatments for their Invisible Wounds.
Read MoreHyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can help heal brain wounds: TBI/PTSD/Concussion. Peer-reviewed positive scientific and clinical evidence in over 7500 cases demonstrates that HBOT helps heal wounded brains and returns patients to a life denied them by DOD/VA/Army that will not talk about, or even use or pay for HBOT treatment for TBI/PTSD/PCS/Concussion. Successful treatment with HBOT [40 one-hour sessions] virtually eliminates suicidal ideation, an effective “suicide prevention” method. Patients also reduce their drug intake to nearly zero and experience 50% reduction in pain and time to withdrawal. The history of HBOT for TBI is littered with bad science, but evidence-based and clinical medicine data show the safety, efficacy and cost effectiveness of HBOT as a standard of care that should be put on-label and insured.

The award reads: “you have distinguished yourself by exhibiting dedication and passion to the field of hyperbaric medicine.” In his remarks to the virtual assembly, Dr. Beckman emphasized a cardinal rule of ending epidemics: early detection, early response.
Read MoreHyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is one such alternative treatment. Worldwide scientific research and hundreds of peer-reviewed articles, including the Government’s own multimillion dollar studies, supports the case for immediate use of HBOT to intervene in the deterioration of brains and decrease in the Quality of Life across society.
Read MoreDepression and suicidal ideation are common effects of PTSD and TBI. Treating PTSD/TBI with hyperbaric oxygen therapy is proven to reduce depression and suicidal ideation, and allow patients to get off almost all their drugs.
